1. 3D Elements – First thing’s first, with the power of the internet and the ever growing simplicity of learning, 3D elements have become more readily available and are receiving great love in the User Interface Designing sector. 3D is also being widely used in full screen animations as main key visuals. It’s not only eye catching but users will often have their attention drawn to it almost immediately. If you need a futuristic feel, this is definitely the way to go.

2. Glassmorphism – Glassmorphism is the new craze this year. It is a “through the glass” effect. The premise of this style isn’t new in itself. It has been used in previous operating systems before but phased out as trends do. However, with the latest iOS changes and the overall look of glassmorphism, it is a popular interface trend once again. 

3. Dark Mode – Dark mode is back as a hot trend in 2021. Big brands like Facebook, Instagram, Apple and Android offered Dark Mode as alternative themes in their products in 2020. It looks modern, allows design elements to pop, and reduces eye strain. So many user interfaces are now starting to include this feature and so should you.

4. Colors on White Surfaces- Colors are the most important visual elements which can highlight your content and brand’s style. But it should help the UI elements and surfaces to be easily distinguished from one another.

5. Aesthetic Minimalism- The minimalist aesthetic focuses on the visual aspect of minimalism and expresses a clean and fresh style in design. You don’t always need a fancy UI, or “wow effects” for your product to look absolutely astounding, there’s nothing more aesthetically pleasing than a simple, minimal and readable UI.
